PCOS and Implantation Failure in IVF: Understanding the Connection

Question
respected sir
i want to ask u that
can PCOS be a cause of implantation failure in ivf.if yes then olz tell me how
waiting 4 ur reply
bissaf

Answer
Hello Bissaf from Pakistan,

No, PCO does not cause implantation failure.  Implantation is dependent on the embryo and the uterine lining, and factors that influence these two.  PCO only affects ovarian function-ovulation leading to hormonal imbalances.  Once ovulation occurs, the hormone balance is usually restored to normal in most cases.
