Period vs. Implantation Bleeding: What Could It Be?

Question
My periods are as regular as the Amazaon rains. Yesterday was supposed to be the start of red day, it didn't happen. This morning, there was very light brown spotting, mixed with eggwhite cm. As of now, nothing, just light cramping. My bbt dipped to 98 flat, (98.39 yesterday and day before), but still over my coverline. Is this considered a period or possibly implantation? I appreciate your advice, Brigid.

Answer
Probably too soon to tell.  But temperatures are going to stay elevated if you are pregnant.  Give it another couple of days for clarity.  Sorry I can't be more helpful.  But if you are "regular as the Amazon rains" and you expect your period, it could still be on its way.  The day is still young!
