Sore Throat After Zithromax: Recovery Timeline & Next Steps

ill start from the beginning on march 27 stayed home mon 29 to april 2 fri went to the doctor the 2nd got prescription zithromax took it for 5 days april 2 till apr 6th been sick all together i would say 2 weeks this day my throat is still sore and bothering me

You didn't ask a question, but I assume you are asking when you are supposed to get better and whether you need to have anything else done.  So, you have been off antibiotics about 6 days and still have a sore throat.  Still, a viral sore throat may still cause symptoms, but I would expect that it should be improving day by day now.  If it isn't improving currently, then it would be reasonable to consult your doctor again.  This may be mono (mononucleosis) and there are anti-viral medications that can help, if this is the case.
