12-Year-Old's Difficulty Exhaling & Arm Numbness: What Could It Be?

My 12 year old son, complained of not being to exhale earlier today, but has been fine ever since, until this evening he complained about his hands feeling like they were asleep and it seemed to travel up his arms,  do you know what this could be?

I assume there wasn't more information like a neck injury or back injury.  I don't know what that could be without seeing him.  My recommendation would be for him to see his doctor.  If this combination of symptoms were related, it would suggest a problem with the nerves at the neck level.

I would get it checked out.....
