Persistent Redness of Lips: Causes, Remedies & When to See a Doctor

Hie,my lips has been turning red for neraly a year now and i have been to my doctor and he said its nothing serious but i'm now woring cause its not healing,and its not painful at all,the doctor said it might be that there is no too much sun or i leak them a lot but i don't think thus the reason as i ave been licking them since i was born.Will you please tell me the medication i can have to heal it,i ave suggested blood test to my doctor to see if i'm allegic to something i'm eating but he refuses so pliz help

Hi mce and thanks for writing, I apologise for my tardy response but I could not log in to AllExperts for a few days so I could not respond sooner.

I tend to agree with you that you may be having a reaction to something. I would suggest you find a good Homeopath or Naturopath and get tested for alleiges and intolerances - I have always found Homeopath tests much better than doctor's allergy tests.

In the mean time, try some Pollinson Drops and see if those help - i they do then you most likely are having an allergic reaction.
