ANSWER: Hello Lydia from Algeria,
It seems that you are smarter than your doctor and should probably consider finding a new one. Luckily your hormone tests were done on the proper day of your cycle. The elevated LH level in comparison to the FSH level, what we call the LH/FSH ratio, is greater than 1.5, and this is an indication for the diagnosis of PCOD (polycystic ovarian disease). PCOD is an ovulation dysfunction disorder. I would recommend that you look at my blog where I have written extensively regarding this disorder. The basic problem is that the ovaries are not functioning correctly, and as a result, the hormones are out of balance and ovulation does not occur. These patients tend to have an elevated testosterone level, which lead to increased weight gain, acne, facial hair and other male dominant characteristics. In order to achieve pregnancy, the ovaries need to be corrected. This is a treatment called "ovulation induction" and there are various medications that can be used for this purpose. I would recommend that you see a fertility specialist to undergo further evaluation and proper treatment. It is obvious to me, from your doctor's comments about the lab tests, that he/she is not a fertility expert so you need to go to the correct doctor to get the correct treatment.

QUESTION: hi again doctors i want to tell you that i took a medication called dufaston it contains progesteron from day 16 to 25 of my periods and i felt a horrible pain on day 16 and 17 of my period and i saw some blood the problem is that i did not get my period till now but i fill pain with some light red blood spots i did an ultra sound on day 30 the doctor said that my yellow body is still there but when i did the home prenancy test it was negative . am i pregnant what should i do.thank you very much
AnswerHello Again,
By "yellow body" I presume your doctor is referring to a corpus luteum cyst and this does not necessarily mean that you are pregnant. A simple blood pregnancy test could confirm whether or not you are pregnant.
