Finding the Right Doctor for Joint & Muscle Pain: A Guide
QuestionI have been suffering for many years with joint and muscle pain. I am prescribed meds that have stopped working. My condition is starting to cause me to miss work. My hands are hard to open or close, the bones of my feet hurt so my walking is not stable. I have been sleeping alot lately and almost burned my house because I couldn't wake up. I can sleep for 12 to 13 hours and still wake up tired. My muscles feel as though I have over exercised. My vision is fuzzy. I have bad migraines now. I have a regular family doctor, who refered me to a rheumatologist who took a lot of blood samples but after many months I stopped going to him. Is there a type of doctor that diagnose problems that I feel are so severe? My driving is even affected and so is my memory. My neurologist report came back within normal limits. Thank you.

Answerpriscilla;
this sound like maybe you may have fibromyalgia;
a disorder that targets your muscles,tendons and ligaments. it differs from arthritis in that the pain is in nearby tissues instead of the joints themselves.
