QuestionHi Charles, I have been reading lots of your previous questions and answers and you seem to be very well educated and a great practitioner. I just graduated from PA school and will be taking my boards in 2 weeks. I was wondering if you had some pearls of wisdom before taking my boards. Anything would be appreciated such as common questions on most boards. The test is only 360 questions so based on the broad realm of specialties it will cover, I'm hoping that the questions will be fairly common, not random off the wall questions that I've never read before. As a matter of fact, I just took my resertification exam a few weeks ago.
Unfortunately I am lacking in OB/GYN and Peds. On these questions I didn't do so well. Most of the questions were dermatology of all things. There were lab test interpretations and EKG reading and a few blood gas interpretaions. Mostly the questions were on medicine overall. Not to many surgery questions.
Keep in mind that this was the recert exam so I can't speak to the first board exam that you will have to take.
If it helps any, I'ce "aced" the exams every time I took them (no bragging, just fact). The test isn't really that hard and being fresh out of school you should do fine.
