Depo Shot After Tubal Ligation: Safety and Alternatives

I want to know if i could  get on the depo to take my periods away even theo i had a tubal?would it be safe?

Hi there Nicole. There is no conflict between having had a TL and going on Depo. My only concern  would be the high incidence of vaginal spotting and bleeding that is reported with depo. A better solution might be to take the BC pill non-stop for a while. Its not as easy as you might think to stop periods. The only sure way would be to have a hysterectomy. Good luck.
