Ortho Tri-Cyclen & Illness: Should I Take the Morning-After Pill?

i take ortho tri cyclen lo every day , i have the flue and vometed about an hour later . would the bc already have been absorbed or should i take the morning after pill ?

Hi Jennifer,

If you become sick after taking a pill, you need to use a back up method for a week after. If you want to be extra careful because you didn't use a back-up, it would be okay to take the morning after pill, but check with your Dr. first.
