Questionbelongs to pakistan,age 50 years,b.p 110/80,sugar after 14 hours fasting 120 mg/dl cholesterole 200 male,weight 72 k.g,hight 5feet4inches,diagnosed blockage in triple artaries and undergone surgery(cabg)on 15september 2005.after febrary this year i stoped taking medicines.from surgery till this date i felt two times restlessness after taking tranculiser and rest few hours i was o.k and one time i felt pain in my chest i was compel to take many madicines.now my friend advivesd me that i should take some medicine, please advice me what medicine should i use.thank you
Answerwow... talk about a hard question... you had decent lab tests, but severe coronary disease at a young age. You need your cholesterol, both good and bad (HDL and LDL) broken down and if your HDL is under 40, you need to take Lopid, gemfibrozil, 600 mg twice a day. Also, if your BP goes up, you need meds for that. Get in touch with your primary doctor to fine tune the medicines.
