Lump Under Scrotum: What Could It Be? - Expert Medical Advice

Hello,

I have a small lump under my scrotum.  It is hard and is about the size of a pea.  It feels like it's near the surface while I stand, but disappears when I sit.  It doesn't hurt.  Is this a hernia or something else I should be worried about?

PS: I recently had a back injury due to weight lifting.

This is not a hernia.... it sounds more like a small cyst... either a sebaceous (oil gland) cyst or a small abnormal vein that is a lump.  It sounds like it is in the skin, as opposed to attached to the testicle.... the skin ones are not worth worrying about.... if it is attached to the testicle, then it has to be looked at.
