Painful Lump Behind Neck: Causes & Potential Treatments

I relized to days ago that I have a painful lump behind my neck above the spine bone. It is a lil bit red and it hurts when I touch it. please email me with some answers, I am very nervous.  send me an email with the answer because i cannot check the site dont  know why. thank you

it sounds like you have an infected sebaceous cyst... those require antibiotics, sometimes drainage... it will probably start draining on it's own after a little while when on antibiotic.  It should be checked by a doctor.  It isn't serious, just annoying.
