Questioni was diagnosed with endo at 16, I'm now 28. i have tried every pill, injection made available to me, however over the last three years i have become much worse. i suffered symphis pubis disfunction during my last pregnancy 3 years ago. i am STILL recovering. i also have an interception of the bowel. during my last course of zolodex(2nd attempt) i noticed an improvement in the amount of suffering from the other two main problems. would you know of any links between these illnesses at all? i have been trying from the start to get my specialists to look into the problems as one, but none of them are prepared to listen. i am now being urged to have a hysterectomy and am waiting for bowel surgery. I'm very afraid, i feel like i am loosing control of my life. please help if you can.any advise will be appreciated. thanks for taking the time to read this

AnswerDear Gemma,
I understand your frustration and your feeling of loss of control of your life.
I don't know what your status is as far as wanting more children...however, I would truly lean towards the hysterectomy. I only say this, because, you are such a severe case and like me, have exhausted any and all treatment that might make a difference...that also ticks me off!
I have had discussions with other women who have had a similar situation...all of them had hysterectomies and thankfully, they all feel wonderful now. That is encouraging.
Another source of advice would be the Endo Research Center Website...they may be able to help you alittle more...I wish you the best of luck and peace of mind with your decision. Most importantly I hope you feel better! Take care
