Persistent Postpartum Bleeding & Chest Pain: Seeking Urgent Medical Advice

My son was born on Sept 25th and i have not stopped bleeding since.  My bleeding has been none stop.  With my first 2 children I only bled for about 4 weeks.  I'm starting to get really worried because this past week I fainted after my chest started hurting, my family rushed me to the local express clinic. I seen a doctor that I really trust and he ran a ekg it came back abnormal so he sent me to the local er he seemed very worried.  the er doctor left me in the waiting room for 2 hours and when i was finally put in a room i was left for another 3 hours.  when the doctor finally came in the room he ran no test and told me that the other doctor read the ekg wrong.  so really my question is:  are all the symptoms related and should i be worried about anything?

Absolutely, I would be concerned if I were you. I imagine you passed out because your blood counts are low from all the bleeding. If the other doctor thought you had an abnormal ECG, I would find a good Internist to exam you, not an ER doctor. Good luck!
