Delaying Your Period: Risks and Safe Options

I am going out of town dand so i want to delay my period. I havent been on the pill for a couple of years.I filled a script for sprintec and have started taking them (5) then I came across norethisorone and got a script but I didnt tell doc that I took the 5 BC's should i stop taking the bc"s while i take the norethisorone to delay my period?

I don't think it is wise or safe to switch from one pill to another in that time range. I don't recommend even trying to delay your period. This sometimes causes problems in the future with your period being irregular. I just received another question in which a young lady tried to change her period around and then had bleeding for 2 weeks after and still having problems. So I can't recommend that you do this. But please consult your doctor about this situation.
