QuestionI had a surgical abortion 2 weeks ago and I was 7.5 week preg. I don't have pain, the bleeding has been pretty regular - not too heavy, not too light - sometimes though, but after 4 days I passed lots of tissue for a day and then again on day 10 as well. I also had a little tissue today, day 14 (w/very mild cramping), but not much, but still bleeding (only 3-4 pads a day). I feel great other than still bleeding and some clots/tissue.
1. How long will the clots/tissue come out and how long will I bleed for?
2. Does the amount of activity have something to do with how long you bleed, if so, what it considered a lot?
AnswerHello,
I'm not a medical doctor but have researched this topic for 20 years.
Just so you know, I found this question in the question pool here on Ediets.com
That means that the person you asked the original question was not able to answer your question for some reason. So they put your question in the question pool and I found it. So I will do my best.
First thing, is have you gone for your post abortion doctor appointment? This is very necessary for your health's sake. If you have or even if you haven't, you might want to get a second opinion on your question. It sounds like it might not be normal bleeding.
Or for a greater length of time than normal.
I can't tell you how long you will bleed and no doctor can tell you.
I can tell you that extra stress or activity could cause the extra bleeding in my opinion.
Please email me at DCHERYL51@yahoo.com and I would love to be PenPals.
And if would like any free post abortion healing reading material, please let me know.
Sincerely,
Diane Cheryl
