Understanding Medication Abortion: Success & Post-Abortion Care

Hi.i am 23 years old..unmarried gurl..i had sex with my bf and got pregnant..but unfortunately i culdnt disclose this to my family..so i took the abortion pills..i was around 2 to 3weeks pregnant only..i took Mifepristone and 2 nights later Misoprost and the next nite again misoprost...i jus spotted for a night when i took misoprost for the first time and no bleeding occurred after that..were the pills successful...when can i take the pregnancy test to re-confirm..??
what are the precautions that i need to take because im really worried...will i get back to the normal periods cycle or not..if yes in how mch time..plz help..im really tensed...

It sounds to me like the abortion pills did not work to end the pregnancy. You should expect bleeding heavier than a period.  How are you taking the misoprostol?  It is best to insert 4 tablets in your vagina or to let 4 tablets dissolve in your cheek (two tablets on each side between your teeth and your cheek).  You can try this up to 3 times, 24 hours apart.  If you do not bleed heavier than a period, then you should really see a medical professional to evaluate your situation.
