Unexpected Pregnancy After Pill Abortion: What to Do?

Question
I had a pill abortion 7.2 weeks ago when I was less than 3 weeks pregnant. I believed to be done with the abortion and in the two week check-up they said I did not have a baby anymore. Of course, I have had lots of emotional issues about my decision but it was too late. My boyfriend and I have had unprotected sex since then once or twice but usually protected. 5 weeks after the procedure, I took a pregnancy test because my body felt weird and realized that a positive pregnancy came up. I have been having terrible cramps and I have been bleeding on and off. My body hurts and when I exercise I bleed more.
How does the doctor/ or whoever check for infection in the two week check up? How do I know I do not have an infection?
I bled for two weeks after the check up and I am bleeding again. I have huge cramps and do not feel well. I never have period cramps. I had an ultrasound recently and don't have the results yet.

Every time I look at the home pregnancy test, it is positive. Is it normal for it to be positive 7.2 weeks later? How long can HCG levels stay high in the female body? How long does it take for a pregnancy to show up in an ultrasound? Would the ultrasound be inaccurate and ahome pregnancy test accurate?
Do you have any insight on this? I heard that after 7 weeks women should feel back to normal. I am scared that I am just bleeding and now having a period.

Thank you,
Help!

Answer
Hi Martha,
have the pregtest performed by a pharmacist or medic.
If its positive its positive.
The pill abortion works well 19 out of 20 times.
So you could be the unlucky nr 20.
After the pill 100% is bleeding, regularly or irregularly and unpredictable.
Overall I am strongly against pill abortions. But that does not help you now.
I think, you'd better go for a succion curettage and have it all finished.
And - my mantra - 'Do not have unprotected sex if you do not want a baby.'

If you had an infection you would have smelly discharge and fever. You haven't
Good luck,
