Misoprostol & D&C: Understanding Post-Implantation Bleeding - Dr. Shan

hi dr.shan i am worried and problematic thinking what should i do..my lmp is last jan. 31 and ended last feb 5... after first week of march i tried to insert misoprostol cytotec and i was on cramps and bleed not so heavy it takes only 1 day and then afeter is just spotting i follow up every 3 hours then i tried again in the other day and then i was bleeding for 1 days not to heavy and sometimes have some spotting..itried after 2 days of insertion and it was still positive i tried a couple of days but i just got bleed for only a couple of hours... so i think i am still pregnant untill now do i need a d&c? there is posibility that the baby is no life already or still alive and need to do up a dilation and cutterage?thank u...

do not worry, everything is fine.
The pregtest stays positive until three weeks after the abortion !
Pregnancy hormones leave the body very slowly.
Your pregnancy was very young and can easily be expelled unnoticed with the bleeding.
The only thing you need is patience.
