Post-Medical Abortion: Changes in Periods & Fertility Concerns

Hello mam, I would love to ask you a question. I had a medical abortion 3  months ago. Since the abortion I have had periods, but the seem to be coming earlier and also getting lighter. I truly regret this whole ordeal, and have been actively trying to get pregnant. But it seems I can't because of my periods and i do not think I'm ovulating. This month it came 2 days early and it's at it lightest. I was told that medical abortion does not affect fertility but i can't help to think it did. I no your body must recover,but I would think they would be getting back on track by now. Can periods get lighter after the medical abortion. Is that normal i so devastated. Please help me! Dear Jessica, Thanks for your question. I do think that medical or surgical abortion can cause problems with fertility but I know they don't tell you that at the abortion clinic. I wouldn't rush getting pregnant again if I were you. Your body needs to heal and get back on track.
