Post-Medical Abortion Experience: Bleeding & Clots - What to Expect

I just had an abortion at 6weeks.i am 21 and i used pills.after taking the last set of pills,i vomited badly 30minutes later bt i also noticed that after 40minutes,i started bleeding lighthly and 3hours later,i went to pee and clots started comin out.this happenned on several visits to the toilet where clots kept coming out bt the bleeding has been light.at somepoint it even stopped.its the second day and the bleeding is still light when i have heard its supposed to be heavy.am wondering,was it succeful?

Hi Kriss,
at 6 weeks the pregnancy is still very small and can easily come out unobserved in some blood clots.
So, no worry. Three weeks after an  abortion the pregtest is negative. So you must wait  a bit.
I do not know which pills you took. Not with all the types there is heavy bleeding. Only with mifepristone.
