Artificial Nails: Pros, Cons & Best Techniques for Durability & Nail Health

I'm an "artificial nail virgin" and would like to know the pros and cons of the latest techniques.  I'm a working woman and am on the keyboard most of the day...and I do my own housework.  I need something that can stand up to these things.  In your opinion what technique is safest, offers minimal upkeep and does the least damage to the natural nail?

Well, nail enhancements don't damage your natural nails when applied properly, so the most important thing is to look for a good nail tech. The diferent systems are very similar when it comes care needed. Nail enhancements shouldn't be used as tools and should stay in water for long periods of time, so wearing gloves to do dishes and housework is recomended. Also use plenty of mosturizer and cuticle and everything should be ok. To better understand the diferent systems i would recomend you ask your chosen nail tech the diferences and benefits of the systems she provides.
