Fiberglass vs. Gel Nail Polish: Durability, Removal & Best Options

thank you for your previous answer re:silk vs gels.  I have previously used acrylic and linen, and now am wavering between fiberglass & gels.  You mention the gels cannot be removed by acetone, how then are they removed?  Can I remove them at home or do I have to go to the salon?  Also, strength/durability: any recommendations? I lead a fairly active life and will be traveling, so I'm trying to make the best informed decision.

Gels (at least most gels) can only be removed by filling. This for obvious reasons should only be done by a professional.
In terms of strenght/durability i think both systems are very similar, i think you should seek advice with the tech your choose.
