QuestionI have been coming across a company that apparently manufactures an organic gel for natural nails. This so-called gel is said not to damage the nail but also nourishes the nail in the process.
How is that possible? Are kidding or what?
Whatever happened to the laws against false advertising? If this gel does exist I will be more than happy to use it instead.
AnswerHi Andria,
The term "organic" is used to refer to many things and while it may not be a 'fraudulent' use of the term (because not all things that are 'oranic' are necessarily 'plant') it is none the less misleading.
One definition reads: ""relating or belonging to the class of chemical compounds having a carbon basis; "hydrocarbons are organic compounds""
Having said that, the manufacturer is not lying, but.....
Absolutely NONE of the enhancement products (EXCEPT MMA) on the market are 'damaging". What is damaging is A)poor technicians doing their work improperly B)use of the illegal and toxic substance of MMA found in cheap L&P Acrylic.
Gel can NOT nourish the natural nail. Nails are nourished from 'within' (by what you eat).
I hope this answers your questions
best regards
