QuestionHI,I have a problem when I'm doing nail extensions using ibd clear gel. My problem is at the end when I'm ready to apply a layer of ibd ultra seal. Once i've applied,cured and then wiped it with ibd cleanser plus the nail looks uneven and patchy. I've tried applying it in different thicknesses but still get the same result.
Do i need to to use a seal or can i use a thin layer of clear gel once I've buffed the nail ? will this still look patchy? how should i apply it? thanks

Sorry for delay, I have been working a crazy schedule backstage at London fashion week!
Im not a user of this brand of gel ,but i can give you some answers to gel products in general.
If the finishing layer of gel is a brush on, and you are sure that the surface had been smooth and free of dust and oil before the application, there may be some oil in the brush of the top coat.
if the top coat looks smooth after appl but comes out from the lamp with uneven patches in it, it is almost certainly oil either on the nail surface or in the product or brush.
My suggestion would be to get a new top coat and try it to see if it stops happening.
if it stops, then it is the product not your application.
always be very careful not to leave lids off at all, and to brush off dust from nail before using the brush on top coat.
