Acrylic vs. Gel Nails: Key Differences & Properties

I want to know what is the diference between gel and acrilic? and if acrilic is porcelain or not?

Diferences between Gel and Acrylic are best described by pointing out their characteristics.

Acrylic.

1. Porous material so dissolvable in either acetone based or acrylic remover liquid
2. Time setting limited to seconds because of setting the product by air.
3. You can make more crisp designs becasuse of the limited setting time.

Gel:
1. Non Porous material after setting so you have to remove by filing either electric or manual.
2. Time setting based on the time cured under a UV light bulb.
so no setting time before the UvLight.
3. You need a Uvlight

Qualitywise there is no difference if prepped correctly. Some people like ACrylic others like gel.

Most of the time whatever appears first in a country will be popular.

Acrylic is not porcelain.
