AnswerWell Yessenia in technical terms we refer to them as artificial nails! First of all I want to tell you that artificial nails are to be taken very seriously. There are licensed Nail Technicians for a reason. I don't know if you are considering going to walmart or a drug store to buy some glue-on nails, but I strongly suggest you don't do that. As technicians we are intensely trained to make sure that everything is done properly and sanitary to protect our clients from harmful diseases and fungus. Since you are not trained you should ask your parents to see a technician. By doing you own nails and not knowing how to properly sanitize or put the nails on, you could easily get a fungus.
