Best Long-Lasting Artificial Nails: Gel, Acrylic & More

Hi,

I used to get solar nails done all the time when living in Boston. Now that I've moved to Atlanta, the heat/humidity/something!! causes the nails to not stay on as long.

Can you please recommend a particular kind of fake nail (gel, acrylic, solar, wraps, etc.) as well as a specific product name.

Hi Andrea.

There could be a number of reasons why the product is not wearing as well. Change of medications, different products being used, application of product is different, using new household cleaning products without gloves,not maintaining properly, etc...all can lead to these results.

As far as which enhancement to use it really requires a consultation and for a nail tech to look at your current nails. I can do neither via this website. Your life style needs to be taken into account as well as your medical history, maintenance expectations and goals.

Just remember no product is forever or long wearing. Be sure to be realistic and open with your nail tech.
