UV Lamp Lifespan: How Often to Replace & Why - Nail Tech Insights
QuestionI was wondering how often should lamps be replaced in a UV Lamp and why? Some companies say every 6 months or after a certain amount of uses. Also does it matter if the lamp has 1-2-4 lamps?
AnswerDear Andria Panay,
Good lamps have a life span of 2 or 3,000 Hours so that would be around half a year to a year using it every day.
Standard which is better to keep is when the lamp stops curing the gel, gel seals or nail polish.
It does not matter how many lamps you are using because they will always be working together at the same time. With more lamps you might shorten the curing time so it will be cost effective. I think it will always be a good idea to buy a lamp from a well known company such as EzFlow or IBD.
Good Luck
