Toenail Fungus Treatment & Recovery: A Personal Story

Question
Hi Susana,  I suffered with toenail fungus back in the 1980's and this was before the days of prescription pills for treatment.  At that time, after unsuccessfully using topical anti-fungal creams etc. a Dermatologist removed my 2 big toenails and nail beds.  I'm sooo tired of not being able to wear open toe shoes and sandals!  I use to have cute feet!  I have also tried fake nails and I'm concerned about applying the glue directly to my skin on my toe where the nail use to be.  I live in Mpls. MN. and wondering if you have any referrals to a nail specialist or nail tech in my area.   Thank-you!!!

Answer
Well, if the adhesive you use to glue the nails on is a professional adhesive there should be no problem as it is the same as medical grade adhesive used to seal wounds. You can have a nail tech to sculpt you toenails in acrylic and then you can glue it yourself with adhesive, if it fall you can glue it back on and once the glue starts to build up you can send it back to your nail tech to have it cleaned.
I'm sorry but i live in Portugal and i have no idea of any good nail techs in your area but usually Creative's techs are really good in this type of thing.
Hope i could help.
