Questioni too developed an allergy to something in the acrylics and after every fill in endured 2 days of swollen nailbeds and itching so i removed them and would like to know if there is any one in my area who could put on a nail that wouldnt give me such problems

I suggests you look for a real gel nail salon .
Usually this will be a spa or well known place!
Gel nails only need to be filled every 3-4 weeks so that will save you on your bugdet.
And I really wish the news would have gotten there fax straight.
The uv rays in a nail lamp is sooo low you would have to spend millions of hours straight in one
To even get a slight tan! You have nothing to worry about!
