Nail Glue vs. Resin: Understanding the Difference for Nail Technicians

Question
My questions is are glue and resins the same?  Now the reason I ask this.  I have heard gel glues referred to as resin.
Can you give me some info or a go-to site?  Thanks Pam

Answer
Hi,

Resin and glue are very similar, resin has a thicker viscosity,
which means that glue is thin almost watery and resin is thick
Resin is easier to work with when it comes to artificial nails.
It is easier to apply tips or even to fix a break or for fiberglass
applications. More nail techs are using resin as it doesn't break down
in water as fast as glue either!

Good luck
