Nail Plate Lifting: Causes, Healing & Prevention | [Your Brand/Website]

Question
I hope that you can help me.
I have worn acrylic nails for quite some time and am now in Nursing School where NO acrylic Nails are allowed. I had them soaked off and oh my gosh.....my Nails are horrible. I have Nail plate lifting on 6 of 10 nails. It is the most ugly thing I have ever seen. Will this heal? It has already been 6 months and I keep them filed down, still they continue to be damaged. Will this be forever? I am so upset and need help asap! Thank you so much for your help.

Answer
This condition is probably due to the thinning of your natural nail, being like this they support less stress and causing them to lift. I would advise you to keep you natural nail short and to use cuticle oil daily to nourish the nails. This will help them grow and this condition improve over time.
Hope i could help.
