Acrylic Nails for Damaged Nails: A Solution for Nail Bed Issues

Hi Susana,
About a year ago I became very stressed at work and started biting my fingernails almost to the cuticle. I want to quit and my hands look awful. Is it possible to get some type of artificial nail to cover mine as they grow out or do I have to have a certain length of nail for the fake ones to adhere to? Please help my husband is really upset about the appearance of my fingers.

You can apply nail enhancements to help you nails to grow, but to apply enhancements the nail should be at least 3-4mm in length (of nail plate, not free edge) and the extension (if applied) should only be up to 1/3 of the total length.
