Acrylic Nail Allergy: Solutions & Alternatives | Nail Care Help

I was wondering what I could do to be able to wear acrylic nails again. When I try on gel or acrylic nails, my hands begin to itch and dry out. My tech even tried half silk and half acrylic but that only lasted so long. I can do silk nails without a problem. I'd love to be able to go with a cheaper option again, not to mention I love my black colored tips. Help! Please and thank you!

Sounds like you have an acrylate allergy. The products that contain this are all acrylics, glues, resins, gel polishes and most gel enhancement products. The exception is a product called Tuff Enuff Nails or TEN. You can contact them at tuffenuffnails.com to inquire about someone in your area that uses this.
