QuestionQUESTION: Last Monday I was dong my laundry and as I was using the trigger to spray it went under my nail. Well, in short my index nail is practically hanging on by a thread to the bit of cuticle of one sides. Should I try to separate it or let it grow out? Is it okay to cover it during the day so people won't notice and I can uncover it at night? I have removed all by tips/such by pure acetone soaking yesterday. everything else is fine. What should? There was lots of pain, but luckily barely any bleeding.
ANSWER: OUCH!!
I would NOT try to seperate it, but definitely clip off anything thats loose. It's perfectly ok to cover it up so people won't notice, and more importantly to keep stuff OUT of it! Otherwise, just let it grow out. Apply a cuticle oil with Vitamin E and jojoba, these have restorative properties that will help you heal a bit faster. Apply a little neosporin when you bandage it to help keep anything that gets in from becoming an infection.
Good luck! And no enhancements til that nail grows out some! :)

QUESTION: what is jojoba?
AnswerJojoba is the smallest molecular structure of moisture in existence. It has the ability to penetrate deeply, where most cannot, and can drag other vitamins, minerals, and moisture with it. Solar Oil by Creative Nail Designs is the best I have used with this ingredient, and it also contains sweet almond oil and rice bran oil for super conditioning.
You can by it in most retail areas in salons, or even online- www.heatherdavisnails.com (sorry, shameless plug lol).
