Fixing Ruined Nail Polish: What to Do About Bed Linen Marks

Question
Hiya

I had a manicure done on Wednesday evening (now Friday) and I've got marks (I assume from bed linen) in the polish.  Is there any way I can rectify this or will it have to be removed?

Thanks in advance

Clare

Answer
Hi Claire

Im sorry i didnt pick this up a few days ago. i have been away for the weekend.
Nail enamel takes around 24hrs to dry, therefore it can receive dents from bed linen.

If the layers of enamel were thin and a drying product was used (eg a spray or oil) the drying process is speeded up slightly.

When you get home from having your manicure, apply a thin coat of nail oil to your painted nails as this acts as a protective layer on the setting enamel.

if you do notice some dents, apply the oil and try to smooth out the dent gently with your thumb.

If this is too late for this time, hopefully it will be of help to you for next time!
