Questionhi :)
I have scars right now that are from recent bed bug bites. It has been resolved (the bed bugs) but I have some scars left over. Do bug bite scars differ from other kind of scars because, I want to know what remedies can I use to make the scars fade? I know they have scar treatment stuff but I heard cocoa butter and shea butter is good? :)
I just found out vitamin E won't do much. I heard scars can last up to two years.
AnswerHi there Kelly. Sorry to hear that. The scars left on the skin as a result of bed bug bites are not much different than the scars left on the skin as a result of mosquito bites, red ant bites, etc. I've had red ant and mosquito bites myself that left scars. I'm glad you asked me about a remedy to help fade scars of this type. I'm excited to share with you that there is a fabulous natural oil I've discovered and tried on my skin previously. It's called Tamanu oil which is indigenous to Polynesia. Not to worry though, you can get this oil inexpensively right here in the U.S. I'll tell you where shortly. For your convenience, Kelly, I've listed the many benefits of this special oil below:
*scars of all sorts
*insect bites
*burns & blisters
*diabetic sores
*sunburn
*dry or scaly skin
*eczema
*athletes foot
Tamanu oil has very good healing properties for all sorts of skin issues. And yes, Kelly, Shea butter and cocoa butter have been used for a very long time for scarring and has worked for many. I've used it on my young children since they were infants. Now, I make a skin butter for my family I call HempShea - because I include organic hemp seed oil as well as patchouli essential oil to the Shea butter foe extra healing.
With that said, if you want a more simple, one-step remedy I believe is even more effective for scars, Tamanu oil fits the bill. You will not need to dilute or mix it with
anything . You can use Tamanu oil just as is - straight out of the bottle. Below, I've included a
FREE downloadable report from the sellers of this oil to give you much more info on it. Also, I've included a link to a company called Mountain Rose Herbs that sells this oil as well for a decent price. If you decide to go this route, Kelly, let me know how this oil worked for you after using it for about a month or so. Hope this helps and have a blessed week!
