QuestionI have gel nails now, but am thinking of just doing a good hard and clear lacquer finish on my natural nails instead of having artificial nails to upkeep. What brand/type of polish do you recommend that would last as long as the salon style gel nail treatment, and where can I buy it?
AnswerI am sorry to have to tell you that there IS no enamel that is as shiny, or as long lasting as UV gel enhancements.
You can buff them to a high gloss shine, and re-apply a nail strengthener or just topcoat every few days, but thats about it.
I would say to get yourself some Creative Nail Designs Toughen Up for a base coat, and a bottle of their Super Shiney for a top layer. Reapply both every few days, then remove after a week and start over.
I also highly recommend purchasing a bottle of Solar Oil and a tube of Cuticle eraser, both make your nails instantly shiny and cuticles appear immediately manicured.
