Acrylic Nail Fill Issues: Addressing Lines & Imperfections - Expert Advice

Question
I was late getting my acrylic nails filled in.  I went to a salon in walmart to get them filled.  I have french tips and I also get a gel overlay.  She used a powder on my nails and finished with the gel overlay.  However there are lines under the fillin from where the nails had grown out before.  There must have been trapped dirt where the nail had grown out before because it is showing through.  Part of my nails were not even covered with gel and some parts are too heavy and thick.  My skin on the sides of my nails are sore from all the filing.  What can I do about my nails to make them look better?  I have a function to go to on Sunday and my nails look terrible.  I had to buff the tops because they were so uneven.  Thanks alot.

Answer
Dear Cindy
The lines are likely due to her not removing all of the lifted product and blending properly before applying new product for the refill.

It sounds to me like either an unqualified technician, a newly trained technician not yet perfected her skills or NSS.
In either case, your only option is to seek out a well trained technician and have them corrected.
Best regards
