Acrylic vs. Gel Nail Extensions: What's the Difference?

Can you please tell me what is the difference between Acrylic Extensions and Gel Extensions? 10x.

Acrylic is a mix of liquid and powder that goes over the plastic tip, it is very tough and can be removed by soaking in pure acetone,  Gel is a product that looks like clear honey and is applied over the plastic tip and cured under a UV lamp, it can sometimes burn and is not removable by soaking in pure acetone, You have to buff it off which can be painful.
