IBD Nail Yellowing: Troubleshooting & Cleaning Tips

QUESTION: hi i've been using ibd products and my clients nails are turning yellow,i've rang up the company and they say the product is not expired and it must be my brush but i clean it after every client and store it away from dust i don't know what to do i love the product but hate the nails going yellow.Am i not cleaning it enough please help

ANSWER: Hi Rebecca-
It sounds indeed like your brush is not clean. Be sure to fan your brush when cleaning and that your using the proper cleansing technique.I invested in a specific brush cleaning product. Also be sure your using the proper brush for the product. If you do not sometimes the bristles if not the right shape or type can hold way too much product.

QUESTION: hey thanks for the help what would be the right brush cleaning technique cause i might be doing that wrong and i'm going to check if i am using the right brush i didn't know the shape of your brussh can make a difference,what shape would you advise me using thanks again

The shape and type of bristle are really important. I use CND brush cleaner. I would stick with either a brush from the same company or find one that works for you shape wise. Oval or squared are usually prime picks. Squared is great for one ball, oval is great for getting into the cuticle area. Its really up to you. Having a variety is never a bad thing. Try it out!
