Hello Roy The best way to clean your clippers is using a toothbrush to get all of the hair out of the teeth then, they have this stuff called blade wash you can pick it up at your local beauty and barber supply store this will help you clean the inside of the clippers with out taking then apart. you also need to disinfect your clippers and trimmers you can pick up something called Spray Disinfectant or H-42 I prefer H-42 because it has a good smell and has lubricant in it. Last you need to keep your blades oiled if not they will start to rust and become very dull they have clippers oil the best I think is Wahl oil but do not use after every cut. I know it say you are supposed to, NOT TRUE the oil slows down the blade motion that is where the H-42 comes in handy. Hope this helps!
