Understanding 14kt V.O. Jewelry Mark: Origin & Value

I bought a braclet in St. Thomas at a really good price.  On the clasp it is stamped 14kt V.O. Can you tell me if this is the maker's mark and if so where did it originate from?  Thanks for your time.

VO may the mfg. hallmark, however, without actually seeing the item I can't comment intelligently. There are hundreds of mfg. for chain and bracelets, is there a mark on the bracelet which states "Italy"? or other marks? can you email and scan a picture of the item? How much does the bracelet weigh in grams or pennyweights? if you know and I will let you know the cost of the item.
