QuestionI recently had a ring engraved. I had wanted something else but they said it
wouldnt fit, and asked me on thespot what i would want instead. i had them
engrave something but im not in love with it...am i stuck with it, or is there a
way to be able to redo it????
AnswerI need more info to answer this question: what type of metal is the ring made from? platinum, Karat Gold, Silver etc///.... how deep is the engraving>? if the engraving is not real deep it can be polished out and redone....if its real deep and the shank is thin? you compromise the integrity of the shank and the ring....if all else fails the shank can be replaced and start over although at a cost avg approx. 35.00-75.00 depending on the width and thickness....
