Questionnot that long ago my husband and I bought one of those gemstone parcels from jewelry television and all of them were poor quality to say the least. we went to have a jeweler look at them and they said we were severely ripped off. my question to you is where can we find good quality wholesale gemstones?
AnswerWell thats a slippery slope. You can find good wholesale gemstones, but your not going to find them for cheap. There was a gemstone expo in town in November I went to, and they had bags of stones for various prices, but they were cheap, small, and included stones. The only time you get alot of stones for a cheap price is when they are unfit for jewelry. They had stones for sale that were excellent quality at prices a bit below a normal price per carot. If you can find a gem expo comming to your town, thats your best bet. The website for the show I went to is

You can see if it's comming to your town, you won't find quality stones unless your willing to pay a good price.
