Professional Evaluation & Safekeeping for Your Gold & Diamond Discovery

Hi, we have found a quantity of Gold on our private land in the US and found a very large what we think is a diamond. Can you recommend what to do please in terms of people/company to trust to verify this and how to store for safekeeping and record our find so its not stolen or the find dug up please. Thankyou so much for your help.

Bring the Diamond and gold to a Gemologist to be tested and appraised.
If you cant find someone in your area you can send it in to my office to be done if you send it by Registered Mail only.
