I bought this figaro gold chain in 1998 at 1000 canadian dollars (got a good deal).  It weight 65 grams, gold and white gold.
How does it worth today

Pure gold today is about $730/oz. There are 31.1 grams/oz. So one gram of pure gold is $23.47. 18kt is 75% gold, so each gram is $17.60. Multiply this by your 65 grams and you have $1,144 worth of pure gold. To figure the workmanship to make the gold into a chain and a jeweler's profit you could at least double this number (replacement cost).
