Authenticity & Value of Vintage Fob Chains with Gold Hearts

I have what I think is Fob chain. Ive had this for almost 30 years. It has some x marks on it and gold hearts between each link. I is about 10 to 12 inches long is this authentic Fob Chain?
Answerthe chain appears to be gold filled and was a chain used for a pocket watch to be held in a suit vest pocket with the chain hanging down slightly for a sophisticated look, I do not believe the chain is gold, take a close look around the clasp and chain connections to the clasp and try to determine a marking then let me know or take it into a jewelry store and they can test it for you. I cant comment on your FOB, I dont have enough info..
